Modern Warfare 3 Is that this Year's Big Game
In 2010, among those games exists just as before. This year, it is Cod Modern Warfare 3.
The announcement for Modern Warfare 3 caught a lot of people offguard. The game's predecessors were huge on the planet of videogames, but things changed drastically after Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward, the developers behind the action, rebelled against Activision (their publisher) over some unpaid bonuses. Jason West and Vincent Zampella, two of the project leads at Infinity Ward, quit alongside most of their coworkers. Many people considered that was the finish of Infinity Ward, but that all changed when Activision recently announced that not only was Modern Warfare 3 coming, nevertheless it was coming this year in time for that holiday season. These times, however, the multiplayer will likely be handled by the different developer. Sledgehammer games will handle the multiplayer part of the game, while Infinity Ward takes care of the only player.
Many worry how the loss in a lot of the Infinity Ward team will leave MW3 in hands which are not as capable since the previous games. In spite of that, it is the biggest bet on 2011. The name alone will sell millions upon an incredible number of copies. Already, MW3 forums are showing up on multilple web sites and communities are forming everywhere. Already, tens of thousands of everyone is looking it up on Google.
By holiday 2011, Activision can have thrown the hype train fully effect. It will likely start at e3 like it did recently with Black Ops, and continue on for months. By November, consumers is going to be loosing their mind for the game and it will sell like hotcakes, and fill xbox live and PSN with players.
